     Holden Caulfield is a sixteen-year-old private academy understudy who has failed out of school the prior week Christmas. A few days before he's normal home for Christmas excursion, he leaves school, wanting to invest some energy in his own in New York City where he lives.  â â â â Though Holden is cordial with numerous individuals at school, and however he has a few companions in New York, he's continually forlorn and needing somebody who will identify with his sentiments of distance.
